Great service – I was a bit worried about leaving the dogs for that long as we had always used the kennels in the past, but I hate asking the neighbours to collect the mail and water all the plants every time we go away so I thought I’d try a pet sitter. I just wanted to express my thanks at the service we received from your carer Gill accross the Christmas Break. Our carer plans had fallen through due to an ill neighbour and with 4 days till going away you took our booking and along came Gill. She had an excellent rapport with Keb & Muddy and even bravely took them for a walk. (16 month old Kelpie brothers!) She was a godsend and have told all neighbours of her excellent care. We can now look forward to our breaks knowing that they will be well taken care of. Thanks heaps Gill!

We just wanted to say how absolutely delighted we were with Helena who looked after our two Airedale Terriers while we were overseas this Christmas. The previous Christmas, we had placed Harry and Rosie in a boarding kennel for the first time ever, and when we collected them after our 10 day holiday they had both lost a lot of weight (Harry was emaciated) and both came out with terrible diahorrea/gastro. They both had vet visits afterwards and both ended up on a course of medication. They also needed a good bath despite the kennels having "hydrobathed" them before collection. Needless to say we felt terrible and resigned never to use kennels ever again. We know that looking after our two Airedales can be a real handful, especially to walk, and entrusting them to just anyone was a real dilemma for us. However, when we saw how Helena was with them, we were completely sold! She handled them beautifully and showed genuine interest and affection for our little terrorists. While we were away, Helena also kept us informed and assured via text message that our babies were doing well and we know she spent extra time with them. We will definitely use her again. Your service is just sensational. And if the rest of your staff are anything near as wonderful as Helena, then your business can only continue to grow! Happy New Year and best regards,

I just wanted to send out a big Thank you to Maree for looking after our kitty Blossom over the Christmas period. It was great to leave her with someone that knew would give Blossom lots of attention and cuddles and who would spoil her just as much as I do. I knew that Blossom would be well cared for after meeting Maree. I loved the added touch of the radio being left to classical music to give Blossom a bit of company. I do that now when we go out. The service provided has been reliable and professional at all times. Any concerns we have had have been followed up immediately and thoroughly. The current walker, Linda, is so wonderful with our large dogs. She always leaves a small flower to let us know that she has been. We trust her implicitly with our dogs and our home. Since Linda has been visiting our dogs, they have been more calm and relaxed. Similarly our previous walker, Fiona, was exceptional. Justin has always kept us up to date and informed, and assisted us if we have unusual circumstances which need accommodating. THANKS LONELY PETS CLUB. Hi Justin, I got back yesterday and found two very happy and contented fur faces. I actually think they were a bit disappointed it was me who turned and up, not Belinda! I was initially disappointed that Renea wasn't able to do the job but Belinda sounded as if she was excellent and did some really fun things with them. I've always had neighbours or friends feed them in the past while I've been away but in future will use The Lonely Pet Club, as I think they appeared a lot happier and not at all stressed. The service is great! When we went away for the weekend to a wedding in March we were so pleased to be able to leave our Russian blues at home knowing they would be looked after and that they’d be in their own environment. Our cats are strictly indoor dwellers, so our house is their world! We had only ever boarded them once and even though the cattery looked great and the people were nice we were really upset to find that our cats were so unhappy at the end of it – our boy had visibly lost weight in only 3 days which led us to the conclusion that it couldn’t have been a nice experience for them! We are really happy that we can use the Lonely Pets Club – so much so that we’ve booked you again for the June long weekend! It’s a great idea and we hope that you keep up the good work.

As regular travellers we are so thankful for it. We didn’t want to move our dogs out of their yard and wanted to ensure we had someone drop in to see them for peace of mind. Claudette has been great and we’d like for her to continue to look after Basil and Jordi – they’re getting to know her, and we personally like her too. It helps to know you feel you can trust someone to just walk into your home and do the right thing. Timings are good also as the dogs are used to morning and evening feeds and play time so it all co-ordinates well. Very happy.

Very good service. Hector was definitely more contented on my return than when he has gone into a cattery in the past. Holly said that she had zoom-groomed him each day and his coat certainly looked well for it. Having the mail collected was also a bonus. I will use lonely pets club again in the future and have passed the details to two friends.

Quite happy with everything, both the cats looked relaxed and happy when we got home & that’s my goal, hard to gauge what the fish thought, but he looks well so no problems there. It was a nice feeling while we were away to know someone was checking in to our house and pets each day and that we weren’t relying on friends or family to go out of their way. The dogs were kept in their own environment, looked after by Leesa who was wonderful and so much more. It was really nice to know that we could trust Leesa with the house and the dogs. We have only used the service once, and to be honest, couldn’t find a fault. Fabulous service, Holly was great- the cats loved her- they were happy and content and fat on our return. It is great knowing someone is going into the house daily to check if anything is amiss and the inclusion of picking up the mail, taking in and out rubbish bins and occasional watering makes it such a fabulous service.

Cannot recommend it HIGHLY ENOUGH. It is a preferable alternative to boarding kennels. Holly was fantastic - she left a very extensive note for us as to how the dogs went. It is reassuring to know our dogs were cared for so well in our absence. It is a service operated by people who genuinely love animals- you can’t ask for more than that. Very professional. Also love the added bonus of having the bins put out!!

I have been very impressed with all aspects of your service from the first day I contacted you. Responses to my emails and phone calls have been prompt and friendly. When I met Leesa for the first time, I knew immediately that my pets would be in good hands. While I was overseas, I felt confident that all was well back home. Leesa even asked me to call her on the day I arrived back home so that she knew for certain that I had returned. If she didn’t hear from me, she was going to feed and walk the pets in case my return had been delayed. I thought that was a really thoughtful, caring approach.

It was great. I had met with Roz to discuss what I was looking for and although she was nice and seemed happy with all my demands, I was nervous still. On arrival home I found some very happy animals and a very healthy garden. Roz had even done some weeding. Holly was fantastic with caring for Zoe and the garden. Unfortunately for Holly, Zoe decided she should try and escape whilst I was away. Holly had a very frustrating and worrying time with this; I appreciated how well she did keep me informed on what was happening. I think your service is very innovative and certainly suits my requirements. Previously I have relied on friends, not “doggy people.” One downside is that since I’ve returned every time I come home Zoe expects a walk!!.

We were very impressed, given that we booked at the last minute for the Xmas break and Lonely Pets wasn’t the only service we looked into. However, we chose Claire, in particular, as she seemed to develop an instant rapport with our cat, Manni. Claire readily agreed to look after Manni an extra day when requested. When we arrived home, Manni looked well – fed and happy. We will use Lonely Pets services again.

I thought it was fantastic. I was getting stressed about the family taking a holiday because we had no one to look after our dog and cat. I was worried that the dog would bark and annoy the neighbours without regular exercise. It was great having our mail collected and our plants watered. I was worried about the risk of burglary whilst we were away. The service helped minimise this risk. The fee was very reasonable for the service provided.

I think it’s great. For us, it’s preferable that the dogs stay at home and be looked after, rather than having to get them to a kennel and pick them up. That way we know they are in a secure yard, they don’t fret in a foreign environment, and are free to run around all day like they do normally. It so convenient, and it makes our holidays much more enjoyable too! The dogs also love it – we have tried them in a kennel, but as one of them is timid, he much prefers to stay at home with his mate, and have Lonely Pets come around.

I was very pleased with the service. I came home from my skiing holiday to find two very happy cats, who greeted me with an “oh, it’s you. You’re back, then” expression. This is so much better than the stress of a) catching the cats and putting them into their traveling cages, b) driving them to the cattery with Tina being sick in her cage c) repeating the performance on return from holidays and d) finding that both, nut especially Tina, have been so stressed from the experience that they went off their food and took days to recover. Another benefit of the service is that the Club collected my mail and put the bins in and out for me, and, if it had not been the rainy season, would also have watered my garden for me. It’s a fabulous service and I have already recommended it to others

Exceptional service. Eager to please and accommodate my needs including very short notice of interstate overnight trips. All four animals show no sign of stress and are very contented each time I return, possibly due to the fact that the dogs’ usual routine of exercise and a meal both evening and early morning is not disrupted. As the weather gets warmer I have no doubt similar care will be taken in watering the garden etc if required – something I also value.

It is the most convenient way to ensure your cat is looked after in the familiarity of her own home. The staff are very friendly and take detailed instructions on her specific needs, i.e. medication feeding, favorite smooches. In addition my mail is brought in and my home is checked daily. My cat knows I am coming back as she has not been taken out of her environment, which relives owner anxiety. The real gauge is how happy and well she looks when I return. I use the service regularly and recommend to my friends.

Just a quick thank you. Some time back Kerryn care for our two dogs while we were away. While gone, she had to deal with irrate neighbours as the dogs kept on escaping and hunting shoes. Kerryn suggested an electric fence. It has worked wonders. One of the dogs thought it was worth marking the fence line with scent and has not returned since. Danielle and office staff, I had contacted numerous establishments in and around Melbourne plus in Adelaide to look after my two dogs. Nothing suited my dogs or my needs and I was starting to stress as I had a family wedding to attend that Saturday in Adelaide. Finally, on the Monday evening I bumped into the Lonely Pets Club website which I never knew such a business existed. However, it was after office hours. On Tuesday within three and a half hours of speaking to Jo, an understandably nervous Danielle was sent to meet my dogs and get especially aquainted with Chester who tends to be very protective. Danielle came Wednesday as planned and I observed my two dogs reaction allowing a stranger into their backyard. Needless to say, it all went really well. Thursday I set off and made the hens night by 5 minutes. Monday I rang and extended care for my two dogs up until and including Thursday. Jo, thank you greatly for such great service on such sort notice. Danielle, thanks for the care shown to Lady and Chester which eliminated the stress. I most gladly will be using your services again.

Hi, I just wanted to thank Danielle for taking such wonderful care of Dudley & Claude whilst we were away. Jan has been absolutely fantastic with our pets, cats and guinea pigs. She is extremely thoughtful, caring and goes the extra mile without being asked. For instance, there was one day when it was pouring cats and dogs (no pun intended) and one of the cats "Midnight" was outside and not answering Jan's call when she came to feed them. Out of concern for Midnight's wellbeing, Jan returned later that night and lo and behold, Midnight was waiting to be let in. I have a 5 week old baby and an 18 month old Labrador and without Emily's help we probably would have had to give Beau(the dog, not the baby!) away. Not only does Emily walk Beau, which ensures he is happy and healthy, but she has been training him as well. He now can walk on the lead without pulling and the best bit is that Emily has taught him to walk with the pram, meaning I can now take him on walks the days Emily doesn't. He has also improved in his commands, especially “Drop”, which was shakey at best before Emily came along. Finally as a new mum at home, Emily always has the time for a chat and I really do look forward to her visits as much as Beau does. Emily and Lonely Pets Club has made a huge difference to me and Bear and I can't thank them enough.

My service this time was excellent as always. My yard is always clean and tidy when I come home. Emily has a lot of animals to care for here, but she does a fantastic job and they are all happy. I do not believe that the service could be any better. Its fantastic, I just wish that I had known about it earlier.

Ros always takes such good care of our dog Cassie. You can tell Cassie just adores Ros and the time they spend together. Ros is always very good at letting us know how Cassie is getting on and keeps in regular contact. Our bins and mail is always brought in which is a lovely touch and helps make our lives even that little but easier. Cassie is such an active dog that without Ros we would be at a loss to give her all the love and attention she deserves. Thank you Ros!

I would like to pass on my thoughts once again on your carer Kerryn who has looked after my guys on a number of occasions now.. Kerryn is not only reliable and dependent but takes initiative on all levels above and beyond what is required. In my last email to you I bought to your attention Kerryn's initiative on planning a fire evacuation procedure and also leaving notes for me on a matter that I had mentioned I was a little concerned with re my guys. This time Kerryn not only looked after my guys to a standard that I sometimes wonder if I could match but Kerryn also took the initiative to contact my local council re a bolt that was missing from my bin and arranged delivery of a new one for me. (I have to admit I had not even thought of this, I was just going to put up with the broken lid!!!) I don't know how you pass on very satisfied customers thoughts to your carers but I would certainly like to recommend that Kerryn receive some sort of recognition for not only her "outstanding initiative" but "caring" and "nothing is too hard attitude". I only wish there were more employees like Kerryn to be found!!!

Kerryn was really nice and put me at ease straight away about leaving my dogs in her care. She comes across as a great animal person who goes that extra mile to look after my dogs. Now that the boys are settled at home and we're feeling a bit more confident with them, we're going to see if we can manage them ourselves. We're hoping that Ros could come for the rest of this week and then on an as needs basis. I can't praise Ros enough for the care she has provided - going well above the call of duty when they discovered that they can jump the side fence and Ros kept them with her for the afternoon. We have really appreciated Ros coming every day and the reassurance that gave us when they were so little. Thanks again and I would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone. My cat Mia is a mad Balinese who craves attention and is my baby. Whenever I go away I feel happy knowing that Fiona will come round and talk to Mia and play and just give her an hour of much needed company. I have a funky hollow that Mia shows me someone else spends far longer entertaining her than me! Fiona is reliable, friendly and I get a text telling me all about Mia's day which I love. Kerryn took care of my little cat Lily and 2 dogs and 2 cats belonging to my son and his fiance while we were all off to Tasmania for their wedding. Our pets were all very happy to see us come home but were all very well taken care of by Kerryn while we were away. Hi Team Just a quick note to let everyone know how thrilled we are with the service we received from the lonely pets club, through Kerryn Cunningham. All our animals loved her and they were completely at ease in her presence. We had complete peace of mind on our trip and full faith in her capabilities. Glen has been an excellent walker for my 2 dalmatians, Lilli and Lucky. They always looked forward to there walks on a Tues and Thurs every week, and have definately benefited from them, as they are more relaxed, fitter and happier. Glen would always be prompt and come whether it rained, hailed or shined! And has been a great benefit for me, whilst I worked long hours and didn't have enough time to walk my beloved doggies. Both Lilli and Lucky, will miss Glen, as we are sadly moving on, where there will be plenty of land for them to run around on. Lilli and Lucky have asked me to give Glen, a "Paws High Five" for his commitment, dedication, and caring nature towards them during there walking time together. Glen definately deserves recognition for his dedication to providing an excellent service to my dogs.
